Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers in the operation, calibration, and maintenance of heavy industrial machinery and production equipment.
- Conduct routine quality control inspections and document performance metrics using provided diagnostic tools.
- Participate in the assembly and fabrication processes, strictly adhering to OSHA safety standards and protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and enhance workflow efficiency.
- Complete assigned technical training modules and shadow mentors to develop advanced technical competencies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company policies.
- Document daily activities and technical findings in the company's digital log system.
Qualifications
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program or recent graduation (within 12 months) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field.
- Valid eligibility for the J1 Trainee Visa status (must have received a DS-2019 form from a designated sponsor).
- Fluency in English (both written and verbal) to effectively communicate with US colleagues and management.
- Strong foundational knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, or electrical processes.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
- Valid Driver’s License (preferred).
- Commitment to the full duration of the J1 program (usually 12 months).
