Your Role
As a Technical Recruiter at Apex, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of recruitment, from identifying top-tier talent to negotiating offers. We are looking for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about connecting the right people with the right careers.
Responsibilities
- Execute full-cycle recruitment for IT and Engineering roles, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.
- Utilize social media platforms and professional networks (LinkedIn, GitHub, StackOverflow) to identify passive candidates.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand technical requirements and create effective job descriptions.
- Manage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) efficiently, ensuring data accuracy and reporting.
- Coordinate and conduct virtual and in-person interviews, including technical assessments.
- Negotiate offers and close candidates to secure their acceptance.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in technical recruiting or talent acquisition.
- Proven track record of successfully placing candidates in software development and engineering roles.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment methodologies, Boolean search, and ATS platforms (Greenhouse, Lever, or similar).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Willingness to travel to the Wichita office for team events and collaborate with local hiring managers.
- Ability to work flexibly, including remote hours for candidates based in California.
