Responsibilities
- Harvest seasonal crops (vegetables, fruits, tobacco) following safety protocols
- Operate farm machinery including tractors and harvesting equipment
- Maintain crop quality through sorting, packing, and field inspection
- Apply pesticides and fertilizers under supervisor guidance
- Assist with irrigation system maintenance and field preparation
- Adhere to all H2A program regulations and USDA standards
- Participate in team training and safety workshops
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa sponsorship eligibility
- Minimum 6 months prior farm/agricultural experience
- Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions
- Basic English communication skills for safety instructions
- Physical stamina for 8-hour shifts with repetitive tasks
- Valid driver's license (preferred for equipment operation)
- Willingness to work weekends and seasonal overtime
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
