Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops (tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers)
- Operate farm machinery including tractors and irrigation systems
- Maintain crop quality through proper sorting and packing techniques
- Adhere to strict food safety protocols (GAP certified)
- Assist with pest management and crop monitoring
- Perform field maintenance and irrigation duties
- Collaborate with supervisors to meet production targets
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa sponsorship eligibility
- Minimum 6 months crop cultivation experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Flexible availability for 30-50 hour weekly schedules
- Basic English communication skills
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Valid driver's license preferred
- No prior pesticide handling experience required
