Responsibilities
- Perform planting, cultivating, and harvesting of crops according to established agricultural standards and schedules.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery, including tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems, ensuring safe operation.
- Load, unload, and sort harvested produce for shipment and storage.
- Monitor crop health and identify potential issues, reporting them to the farm manager immediately.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for all staff.
- Assist with general farm maintenance, including fence repair and equipment cleaning.
Qualifications
- Must be eligible for H2A visa sponsorship (or hold valid US work authorization).
- Previous experience in agriculture, farming, or agricultural labor is preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods, including standing, bending, and lifting.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Valid driver's license is a plus.
