Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops according to established safety and quality standards.
- Operate agricultural machinery and equipment, such as tractors and harvesters, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Maintain field cleanliness by removing debris, weeds, and unwanted vegetation.
- Inspect crops for quality and disease, reporting any issues to the Site Supervisor immediately.
- Assist in loading and unloading produce from trucks and storage facilities, adhering to weight limits and safety guidelines.
- Follow strict H2A labor certification guidelines and company policies regarding work hours and rest periods.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to maximize daily productivity and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work in the United States (H2A Visa holders encouraged to apply).
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods in outdoor conditions.
- Basic understanding of agricultural machinery or willingness to learn on the job.
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays during peak season.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety and quality standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
