Responsibilities
- Assist in the planting, cultivating, and harvesting of seasonal crops using manual and mechanical methods.
- Operate agricultural machinery and heavy equipment, such as tractors and harvesters, safely and efficiently.
- Maintain field sanitation, weed control, and general landscape upkeep to ensure optimal growing conditions.
- Load, unload, and sort produce according to quality and size specifications for transport.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, regulatory guidelines, and company policies during daily operations.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate tasks and workflow.
- Perform physical labor in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and rain.
Qualifications
- Visa Status: Must be eligible for or hold a valid H2A temporary agricultural visa.
- Experience: Previous experience in farming, agriculture, or landscaping is preferred but not always required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and perform heavy manual labor for extended periods (8-12 hour shifts).
- Equipment: Willingness to learn and operate farm machinery and tools.
- Communication: Basic English language skills to follow instructions and ensure safety.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
