Responsibilities
- Operate farm machinery including tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops (chiles, corn, alfalfa)
- Monitor crop health and implement integrated pest management
- Maintain farm infrastructure and equipment
- Adhere to food safety and organic certification standards
- Participate in greenhouse operations when applicable
- Assist with post-harvest processing and packaging
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial farming experience
- Valid H2A visa eligibility (foreign nationals only)
- Ability to work in outdoor conditions (heat, dust, variable weather)
- Basic English communication skills
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
