Responsibilities
- Operate farm machinery including tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems (equipment provided)
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops according to agricultural standards
- Maintain farm equipment and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to safety protocols and OSHA guidelines at all times
- Assist with packing, sorting, and loading harvested produce
- Participate in irrigation system setup and monitoring
- Work collaboratively in diverse teams to meet production goals
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa sponsorship eligibility required
- Minimum 6 months prior farm machinery operation experience
- Ability to work 10-12 hour days in varying weather conditions
- Basic understanding of English language for safety communications
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shifts
- Reliable transportation to farm location (housing provided if needed)
- Strong work ethic and commitment to seasonal schedule (March-November)
