Responsibilities
- Lead immersive wilderness tours including glacier hikes, wildlife safaris, and cultural excursions
- Operate and maintain company-provided adventure equipment and vehicles
- Ensure guest safety while delivering exceptional Alaskan experiences
- Train new guides on equipment protocols and emergency procedures
- Develop seasonal tour itineraries highlighting Anchorage's natural wonders
- Collaborate with international team members to optimize guest experiences
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintenance reports
Qualifications
- Fluency in English (additional languages strongly valued)
- Wilderness First Aid/CPR certification (training provided if needed)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Experience in outdoor recreation or customer service preferred
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
- Foreigner-friendly: we sponsor work visas and assist with relocation
- Strong communication skills with diverse cultural backgrounds
- Physical stamina for hiking and extended fieldwork
