Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain farm equipment including tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops (vegetables, tobacco, grains)
- Monitor crop health and apply pest control measures as directed
- Perform manual labor including weeding, pruning, and field maintenance
- Adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards
- Assist in packing and processing harvested produce
- Participate in team-based farm operations and training programs
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of prior agricultural experience required
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Physical stamina for lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods
- Valid passport and eligibility for H2A visa sponsorship
- Basic English communication skills
- Willingness to relocate to Louisville area for duration of contract
- Ability to follow precise instructions and work independently
- Valid driver's license preferred
