Responsibilities
- Planting & Cultivating: Assist in the planting, tending, and cultivating of various crops including corn, soybeans, and specialty vegetables.
- Harvesting: Perform hands-on harvesting of produce, ensuring quality standards are met while adhering to safety protocols.
- Farm Maintenance: Perform general farm maintenance, including weeding, irrigation setup, and cleaning of work areas.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate standard agricultural machinery and hand tools as required by the supervisor.
- Packing & Logistics: Assist in the packing and loading of harvested goods for distribution.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a diverse team to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications
- Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the United States and willing to participate in the H2A visa sponsorship program.
- Physical Stamina: Must be physically able to perform manual labor for long hours in varying weather conditions.
- Experience: Previous experience in agriculture, farming, or landscaping is preferred but not mandatory.
- English Proficiency: Basic English communication skills are required for safety and coordination.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time, seasonal work during peak planting and harvesting seasons.
