Responsibilities
- Perform patient vitals and prepare exam rooms for patient visits
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and patient examinations
- Accurately document patient information in EHR systems
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Prepare and process laboratory specimens for testing
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain efficient clinic flow
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic/Meditech preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings and occasional weekends
