We are currently seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and support to our medical staff.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Take and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration).
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist medical staff during procedures.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Document patient care accurately and timely.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous healthcare or patient care experience preferred.
- Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
