Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including mobility assistance and vital sign monitoring
- Administer medications under nurse supervision with precise documentation
- Maintain clean, organized patient environments following safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Assist with daily living activities while preserving patient dignity
- Participate in shift handovers and report changes in patient condition
- Complete required training modules and stay updated on healthcare standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (CNA certification preferred)
- Minimum 6 months healthcare or caregiving experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Compassionate demeanor with excellent interpersonal abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed
