Responsibilities
- Incident Resolution: Monitor system alerts and prioritize/resolve technical tickets for clients during peak weekend hours.
- Hardware & Software Diagnostics: Troubleshoot and repair hardware failures, software bugs, and network connectivity issues.
- Client Interaction: Provide professional, empathetic, and clear technical guidance to end-users via phone and email.
- System Maintenance: Perform routine patching, updates, and security checks on servers and workstations.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed logs of technical issues, resolutions, and preventative measures in the ticketing system.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering team to escalate complex issues and implement long-term solutions.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or customer service.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, and common office software suites.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Problem Solving: Ability to diagnose complex problems quickly and think critically under pressure.
- Education: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent technical certification.
