Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all inbound and outbound shipping operations during the weekend shift to ensure timely delivery.
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and SAP to accurately track inventory levels and stock movements.
- Coordinate with third-party carriers and internal teams to resolve shipping discrepancies and logistical bottlenecks.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards across the facility.
- Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accurate stock records.
- Lead and mentor a small team of associates, ensuring high productivity and morale on the weekend floor.
- Generate and analyze weekend operational reports to identify areas for efficiency improvement.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management.
- Proficiency in computer applications, specifically Microsoft Excel, SAP, or similar WMS software.
- Ability to work rotating weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and occasional holidays.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to operate forklifts or pallet jacks (certification provided).
