Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy
- Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures
- Manage patient electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical instruments
- Administer injections and medications under provider supervision
- Coordinate patient flow and schedule weekend appointments
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (AAMA or AMT)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient setting
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work independently in weekend-only shifts
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
