Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital signs monitoring and medication administration
- Coordinate weekend patient admissions and discharges with precision
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Collaborate with on-call physicians and weekend nursing teams
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital safety protocols
- Assist with weekend emergency response procedures as needed
Qualifications
- Current Michigan CNA or Medical Assistant certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care or weekend shift experience
- Proficient in Epic EHR systems
- BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association)
- Exceptional communication and crisis management skills
- Ability to work independently during low-staffed weekend shifts
