Responsibilities
- Lead Daily Operations: Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping, to ensure 100% accuracy and efficiency.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels and resolve discrepancies immediately.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide a team of part-time associates, providing clear instructions and fostering a positive work environment.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to ensure a hazard-free workplace for all personnel.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily checks on warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in weekend workflows and propose solutions to optimize productivity and reduce waste.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer skills (MS Office Suite).
- Forklift Certification: Valid forklift operator certification is preferred but not required (training may be provided).
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with team members and management.
