Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional guest service through personalized check-in/check-out processes
- Manage room reservations and address guest inquiries with professionalism
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for seamless operations
- Process payments and operate hotel management systems accurately
- Resolve guest concerns promptly while maintaining brand standards
- Assist with event setup and VIP guest services during weekend events
- Maintain detailed shift logs and communicate key updates to management
Qualifications
- Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible weekend shifts (Fri-Sun) including evenings
- Proficiency with hotel management software (e.g., Opera, PMS)
- Valid Louisiana hospitality certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Knowledge of New Orleans tourism attractions and local culture
- Basic math and cash handling skills
