Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanning devices to process inventory.
- Load and Unload Freight: Accurately sort, stage, and load outgoing shipments while ensuring cargo security.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate stock records in our WMS (Warehouse Management System).
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area to prevent accidents.
- Packaging & Labeling: Properly package items to ensure they arrive at their destination in perfect condition.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for defects and report any discrepancies to management immediately.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training is provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to read labels, pick tickets, and verify inventory counts with precision.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is required for this role.
- Communication: Basic computer literacy and ability to communicate effectively with team members.
