Position Overview
As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care under the supervision of our healthcare professionals. Your responsibilities will include assisting with clinical procedures, patient education, and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and nurses with patient examinations and procedures
- Take patient vital signs and medical history
- Prepare and administer medications as directed
- Perform basic laboratory tests and specimen collection
- Maintain patient records and electronic health records (EHR)
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Ensure a clean and safe clinical environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred
- Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
