Responsibilities
- Harvesting: Perform manual and mechanical harvesting of crops, ensuring quality and timeliness.
- Planting & Cultivation: Assist in planting, weeding, and general field maintenance to ensure optimal crop growth.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate agricultural machinery, such as tractors and harvesters, under supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect crops for quality and sort produce according to industry standards.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively within a diverse team to meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long hours, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and work in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to Work: Availability for full-time hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Basic English: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the worksite.
- Experience: Prior experience in agriculture or farming is preferred but not required; training provided.
- Documentation: Eligibility to work in the United States (H2A visa holders welcome).
