Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care across diverse clinical units including ICU, ER, and surgical services
- Implement evidence-based nursing practices while adhering to Joint Commission standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure regulatory compliance
- Provide mentorship to new nurses and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention
- Utilize advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and trauma nursing core course (TNCC) protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the State of Colorado (compact license acceptable)
- BSN degree required; MSN or specialty certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience in high-volume hospital setting
- ACLS, BLS, and TNCC certifications (or obtain within 30 days)
- Proficiency in Epic EMR system and point-of-care documentation
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-stress environments
- Strong critical thinking skills with excellent communication abilities
