Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond immediately to any changes in clinical status.
- Document all patient care activities accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Provide patient education and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care at home.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other staff members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients and visitors.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana (or eligibility for compact license).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience (New graduates with exceptional academic records may be considered).
- Eligibility for or ability to obtain US work visa sponsorship (H-1B, H-1B1, TN).
- CPR/BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS certification preferred based on specialty.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
