Responsibilities
- Install and maintain fiber optic networks, VoIP systems, and wireless communication infrastructure
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues using diagnostic tools and specialized equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance on telecommunications hardware and cabling systems
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize network performance
- Document service reports and maintain accurate technical documentation
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (no degree required)
- 1+ years of experience in telecommunications or IT infrastructure
- CompTIA Network+ certification or equivalent technical training
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and network testing equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work flexible hours including emergency on-call duties
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
