Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced telecommunications equipment across commercial sites
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement network infrastructure solutions
- Document technical procedures and maintain equipment inventory systems
- Provide on-site technical support and emergency response during critical outages
- Train junior technicians on equipment operation and safety protocols
- Optimize system performance through regular diagnostics and preventative maintenance
- Coordinate with vendors for equipment upgrades and component replacements
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in telecommunications or IT infrastructure maintenance
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- CompTIA Network+ or equivalent certification required
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools (spectrum analyzers, network testers)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various environmental conditions
- Strong troubleshooting skills with minimal supervision
- Experience with structured cabling and fiber optics preferred
- Willingness to travel throughout Georgia with company-provided vehicle
