Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications using Java and Python
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and containerization with Docker/Kubernetes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Jira and Confluence
- Optimize database performance through SQL and NoSQL solutions
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Retrospectives)
- Document technical specifications and API documentation
- Ensure security compliance through OWASP best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- Proficiency in Java, Python, and JavaScript frameworks
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and microservices
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and database design
- Agile/Scrum methodology experience
- Eligible for US visa sponsorship (H1B, O1, etc.)
