Responsibilities
- Crop Management: Assist in planting, cultivating, and harvesting seasonal crops (e.g., soybeans, corn, vegetables) using modern agricultural techniques.
- Machinery Operation: Safely operate and maintain farm machinery, tractors, and harvesting equipment under supervision.
- Farm Maintenance: Perform general farm upkeep, including irrigation system checks, fence repairs, and facility cleaning.
- Quality Control: Monitor crop quality and ensure all produce meets company and regulatory standards before packing and distribution.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Logistics Support: Assist in loading, unloading, and transporting agricultural products to storage or processing facilities.
Qualifications
- Visa Eligibility: Must be eligible for or currently hold an H2A Visa (Labor Certification) or be ready to undergo the sponsorship process.
- Experience: Previous experience in farming, agriculture, or manual labor is highly preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including standing, bending, lifting, and walking in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic with a proven history of punctuality and dependability.
- Communication: Basic English language skills sufficient for following instructions and working in a team environment.
