Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on wind turbines up to 300ft
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems using diagnostic tools
- Adhere to strict OSHA safety protocols for elevated work environments
- Coordinate with engineering teams for system optimization and upgrades
- Maintain detailed service logs and technical documentation
- Mentor junior technicians on best practices and safety procedures
Qualifications
- 3+ years of wind turbine or heavy industrial maintenance experience
- Valid OSHA 10/30 certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Strong electrical/mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Comfortable working at heights and in adverse weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate hydraulic/electronic tools
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Technical certification (e.g., BZEE, GWEC) preferred but not required
