Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on wind turbine systems
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults using diagnostic tools
- Lead technician teams during complex turbine repairs and emergency responses
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and industry safety standards
- Document maintenance activities and prepare technical reports
- Train junior technicians on best practices and safety protocols
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize turbine performance
Qualifications
- 3+ years of wind turbine or heavy equipment maintenance experience
- Valid OSHA 10/30 certification and CPR/First Aid certification
- Proficiency with hydraulic systems, electrical schematics, and mechanical diagnostics
- Ability to work at heights and in adverse weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills and technical aptitude
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and climb 300+ feet
- Willingness to obtain required wind turbine certifications
