Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on wind turbine systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical/electrical malfunctions
- Operate specialized climbing and safety equipment
- Document maintenance activities and technical reports
- Collaborate with engineering teams for system optimization
- Adhere to strict safety protocols in high-altitude environments
- Participate in emergency response and turbine repairs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (no degree required)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work at heights (up to 300 feet)
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel throughout New York State
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check
