Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage daily receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Supervise a team of warehouse staff, providing training, feedback, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations (OSHA) and company policies to maintain a secure working environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to reduce waste and optimize storage space.
- Coordinate with shipping and receiving departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Analyze operational metrics and prepare reports to identify areas for process improvement.
- Handle escalated customer service inquiries and resolve logistical issues efficiently.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics supervision.
- Valid Forklift Certification and ability to operate heavy machinery.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Proven track record of leadership and team development.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
