Responsibilities
- Full-Cycle Recruitment: Own the end-to-end recruitment process for Project 2026, from defining job requirements and sourcing to interviewing and closing top-tier technical talent.
- Niche Sourcing: Utilize advanced sourcing techniques (Boolean, social networking, passive candidate outreach) to build deep talent pipelines specifically for AI, Quantum, and High-Performance Computing roles.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with Engineering Managers and Product Leaders to understand complex technical requirements and translate them into compelling candidate value propositions.
- Brand Advocacy: Act as a brand ambassador for Apex Horizon and Project 2026, representing our culture and vision at industry conferences, tech meetups, and on social media platforms.
- Process Optimization: Analyze recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, quality-of-hire) and implement strategies to improve efficiency and candidate experience across the talent acquisition lifecycle.
- Candidate Experience: Ensure a world-class, frictionless candidate experience through timely communication, transparent feedback, and respectful engagement.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience in a high-growth environment (startups or enterprise).
- Tech Stack Knowledge: Demonstrated ability to understand and evaluate technical roles in software engineering, data science, or systems architecture.
- Sourcing Skills: Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) like Greenhouse, Lever, or Workday, and advanced knowledge of sourcing tools (HireEZ, Gem, etc.).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for a diverse audience.
- Networking: An established network of technical professionals in the Austin, TX, or broader US tech ecosystem.
- Autonomy: Self-motivated, results-driven individual who can operate independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
