Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable software applications using modern web technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of product managers, designers, and other engineers to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct code reviews, perform thorough testing, and debug issues to ensure robust system performance.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to foster a collaborative engineering environment.
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making processes.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on full-stack development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
- Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Willingness to relocate to San Antonio, TX, as we are an on-site/office-centric team.
