Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using Java/Spring Boot
- Lead cloud infrastructure deployments on AWS (EC2, Lambda, RDS)
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and architectural discussions
- Optimize application performance using Redis, Kafka, and Docker
- Drive CI/CD pipeline improvements using Jenkins and Terraform
- Collaborate with Product teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and DevOps practices
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and RESTful APIs
- Proven track record of mentoring engineering teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Proficiency with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Experience with agile methodologies and JIRA
