Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize AWS infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Lead CI/CD pipeline automation using Jenkins and GitLab
- Implement robust security protocols (IAM, VPC, KMS) for cloud environments
- Monitor and optimize cloud costs while maintaining performance SLAs
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to troubleshoot complex production issues
- Mentor junior engineers on cloud best practices
- Drive cloud migration projects for legacy systems
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on AWS experience with 3+ years in a senior role
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or DevOps Engineer
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS) and serverless (Lambda, Fargate)
- Proven track record of optimizing cloud costs and performance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
