Responsibilities
- Architect scalable backend services using Go and AWS
- Mentor junior engineers through our paired programming initiatives
- Optimize database performance for 10M+ daily transactions
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Kubernetes and Terraform
- Lead cross-functional Agile sprints with Product and Design teams
- Contribute to open-source projects aligned with our tech stack
Qualifications
- 5+ years of backend development experience
- Expertise in Go, Python, and distributed systems
- Proven track record with AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda)
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles
- Experience with PostgreSQL and Redis
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design
