Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Direct daily logistics and warehouse operations to ensure timely delivery and high-quality standards.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate staff, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in supply chain workflows and implement Lean Six Sigma strategies to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage annual operational budgets, forecasting costs and monitoring variances.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to define operational goals and drive long-term growth strategies.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and internal stakeholders to optimize service levels.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in operations management, logistics, or supply chain.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced MS Office skills.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational change.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- License: Valid Driver’s License and willingness to travel to various facilities.
