Responsibilities
- Oversee daily office operations, including facilities management, supply inventory, and equipment maintenance
- Manage administrative team of 3, providing guidance and performance feedback
- Coordinate vendor contracts and relationships for services (cleaning, security, IT)
- Develop and implement office policies ensuring compliance with safety regulations
- Manage budget for office expenses, negotiate contracts, and optimize costs
- Plan company events, meetings, and travel arrangements for executive team
- Serve as primary point of contact for building management and maintenance issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years progressive experience in office management with team leadership
- Proven expertise in budget management and vendor negotiation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and office management software (e.g., Asana, QuickBooks)
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution experience
- Detroit metro area residency preferred
- Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) designation a plus
