Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex IT infrastructure solutions, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and cloud environments.
- Oversee the deployment and management of hardware and software assets, ensuring all equipment provided is utilized effectively.
- Provide expert-level troubleshooting and technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess technology needs and recommend strategic improvements.
- Ensure data security and compliance with all relevant industry standards and protocols.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee third-party service providers for infrastructure maintenance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering, network administration, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco networking equipment, Linux/Unix systems, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
