Responsibilities
- Architect strategic technology roadmaps for 2026+ horizon, identifying disruptive innovations across AI, quantum, and biotech domains
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype next-gen solutions in areas like neural interfaces, climate tech, and space exploration
- Develop patent-pending frameworks for ethical AI governance and responsible innovation
- Present visionary briefings to C-suite executives and government agencies on technological convergence trends
- Mentor a team of futurists and engineers while establishing industry thought leadership through keynotes and white papers
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology with 10+ years of tech innovation experience
- Proven track record of developing commercialized technologies from concept to market (3+ patents preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, generative AI, synthetic biology, or space tech
- Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling strategic narratives
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi method)
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or technology impact assessments
