Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for C-suite stakeholders
- Design innovation roadmaps aligning with long-term organizational goals and market opportunities
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into product development priorities
- Author thought leadership publications and present findings at industry conferences
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Mentor junior futurists and build foresight capabilities across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies and scenario planning frameworks
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial strategies or products
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Deep understanding of emerging tech domains: AGI, quantum computing, synthetic biology
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence and storytelling ability
- Published research or thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience with foresight tools and data visualization platforms
