Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate tech) to forecast industry shifts through 2030
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for organizational resilience and competitive advantage
- Lead executive workshops translating foresight data into strategic priorities
- Author thought leadership publications on emerging technological paradigms
- Partner with R&D to integrate future-proofing principles into innovation pipelines
- Quantify future market opportunities through predictive modeling and data synthesis
- Mentor junior futurists while maintaining thought leadership in professional networks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for translating complex futures to stakeholders
- Experience publishing in leading foresight journals or industry publications
- Proficiency in foresight tools (Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method, System Dynamics)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-strategy implementations
