Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives by identifying and analyzing emerging technologies, socio-economic shifts, and disruptive market trends
- Develop comprehensive scenario-planning frameworks to prepare the organization for 2026+ business environments
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-oriented insights into innovation roadmaps and R&D priorities
- Deliver executive-level presentations and thought leadership reports on future industry transformations
- Establish cross-functional innovation labs to prototype and test next-generation solutions
- Monitor global geopolitical, technological, and environmental signals affecting long-term strategy
- Mentor junior futurists and build a future-thinking culture across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of translating future insights into tangible business outcomes
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills with data interpretation expertise
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence executive stakeholders
- Experience with AI/ML, biotech, or climate tech trend analysis preferred
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
