Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal trends through 2030
- Develop strategic roadmaps for product innovation aligned with 2026+ market projections
- Lead scenario planning workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and risk mitigation strategies
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions using emerging tech frameworks
- Present foresight insights to executive stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and narratives
- Establish thought leadership through whitepapers, conference keynotes, and industry publications
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into commercial success
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with proficiency in visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex innovation initiatives
- Published thought leadership in futures or technology publications
