Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2030
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for enterprise clients in AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Design and facilitate immersive futures-thinking workshops for executive leadership teams
- Author high-impact trend reports published in industry journals and mainstream media
- Build and manage a global network of academic, industry, and government innovation partners
- Translate complex future scenarios into actionable business roadmaps with measurable KPIs
- Mentor junior futurists while maintaining thought leadership through speaking engagements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting market-defining technologies with 85%+ accuracy
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, biotech regulation, quantum computing applications
- Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to C-suite and board-level audiences
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or major industry publications
- Proficiency in futures research methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning, horizon scanning)
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ enterprise-scale innovation strategy implementations
