Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain robust ETL pipelines using Python and SQL.
- Architect scalable data warehouses and lakehouse solutions on AWS.
- Optimize data processing workflows to ensure high availability and low latency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to ensure quality standards.
- Implement data security measures and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data engineering or backend development.
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Deep understanding of big data technologies such as Apache Spark or Hadoop.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
