Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial HVAC systems (VRF, chillers, RTUs)
- Perform energy efficiency audits and recommend system upgrades
- Train junior technicians on diagnostic procedures and safety protocols
- Manage service schedules and client communication for 15+ commercial accounts
- Comply with EPA, OSHA, and local HVAC regulations
- Utilize diagnostic tools including thermal imaging and manifold gauges
- Complete detailed service reports and maintain digital client records
Qualifications
- 5+ years commercial HVAC installation/maintenance experience
- EPA 608 Certification (Type II/III required)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 75 lbs and work at heights up to 30 feet
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex mechanical/electrical systems
- Experience with building automation systems (BAS) a plus
- No degree required – skills and experience valued over credentials
